We started in Anchorage in 2018 with handmade notebooks and journals. Since then, we've added a variety of stationery and paper-related products, all designed to steep a little beauty into everyday life.
My name is Ferchu Waddoups, and I am the graphic designer, illustrator, bookbinder, and owner of 10 Cups of Tea. I love to build things, and disassemble them too! I was fascinated when I discovered the world of bookbinding as an assignment in college. I fell in love with the tools, the papers, the textures, the long, detailed process, and the focus on elevating something as simple as paper into beautiful pieces of art.
Since 2020, 10 Cups of Tea has also included my daughter, Katerina Waddoups, an illustration student. Her beautiful artwork appears in our everyday notebooks, covers, postcards, stickers, and more. 10 Cups of Tea is the result of our shared passion for stationery, design, patterns, and colors.
In 2024, we relocated from Anchorage to Fairbanks, Alaska, and our studio is now located on Gillan Way. That same year, we partnered with Music Dave as a branch of 10 Cups of Tea. Together, we manage musicdaves.com, producing and sharing music, books, and podcasts. I handle all graphic design and production, while David Snyderman writes, composes, and performs the content.
We also run a small family apiary in Fairbanks, where David Snyderman is the beekeeper. Together, we produce raw honey, beeswax, pollen, and other honey-based products under our Music Dave’s Alaskan Honey brand. Every project at 10 Cups of Tea — from handcrafted notebooks to music and honey — is a labor of love, combining creativity, craft, and a touch of Alaska in everything we do.
10 Cups of Tea is built by us — husband and wife creators, blending art, music, and nature into one ongoing story.
